I feel bad for Elaine. She played Bonkers almost as well as she could, paying no attention to the audience, trying to play the game as fast as she could... just too bad for her that she wasn't the fastest player. Pretty fun and excited too, for what it's worth, even if she did get a bit flustered with the "spin or stay" decision.
Deborah was pretty. Not sure why she bid so high on her showcase, though. Did the Pontiac G6 look more expensive than I thought it did? I mean, I can understand overbidding on a Dodge Caliber showcase maybe, but I'm just endlessly curious where the $32,000 bid came from.
...oh wait, I think I figured it out! It was a
giant Pontiac G6 offered today, as opposed to a human-sized one. Probably would've bid close to a million on that, myself.
Pretty obvious the bonus was either going to be by the mop or the razor today. One really easy prize, one really hard prize and two medium prizes. No chance Roger would've ever put the bonus by either of those two, right?
You know Flip Flop is mindlessly simple when the whole audience wants the contestant to flip flop. I mean, considering the audience usually ignores that option.
Speaking of William, I
love the result of the bidding on the third item up for bids! He bids $1420, putting
way too much emphasis on the "420" part, and the actual retail price? $1400! If only he'd have given a normal bid instead of trying to be funny, he'd have gotten a $500 bonus and could've won a car!
Did anyone notice that Bob actually said, in Pocket Change, that he was giving the first number for free to "make it easier"? Of course,
we know that isn't true. Wonder if Roger was chuckling to himself there
And good job there, Adam. On the showcase, anyway. Could've been very easy to overbid on that.

You know, as hyped up as Bob was getting over the last prize, I was worried he would forget that the game didn't hinge on whether or not Kimberly got that right or wrong. Then I was happy to see Bob did remember it didn't. And now, turns out he did. Ah well.
