Unquestionably in budget saving mode right now, big time!

I have a gripe with Bargain Game.

The colors they use when showing the actual retail price is yellow, with the white numerals, makes it hard for my 57 year old eyeballs to see.

I wish they would use black numerals instead and bolder, like they used to with Barker's Bargain Bar.

I know with B.B.B. the price difference shown was red background with white numerals which is fine.

I wish the current set up with Bargain Game would do the same again.

Very tough games today.  Double Cross the only winner.

I would have flopped in Flip Flop (both literally and figuratively).

I figured a trip to Mexico from California would only have been $6,900 and change as it's so close...

I tell my family that many losses seem to happen more the longer the season goes, due to budget mode being in place.

Indeed those Drone numbers were really a crapshoot.

I shared with my son about the "zero" rule and when the player began to put the zero in the 2nd or 3rd spot I got so irked, my son was amused, but a nice come back to win the car in Ten Chances.

I love that game but I still miss the original game board so much.

It's weird with Spelling Bee, because I too would have taken the $4,000 guarantee.  While that was a painful bailout, I don't know that I'd risk the money without having all 5 cards.

I was floored seeing those chicken nuggets being almost $14!  That's why I thought the It's In The Bag player was right on the other ep putting them in the 2nd bag only to lose!

That's Too Much has grown on me quite a bit, grown (not GROAN)...

I like how they show the price range before the reveal.

I enjoy Punch A Bunch, felt disappointed that only 2 punches were won though.

I lamented to my wife and son who were watching about how that guy with only 2 punches won $2,500 while the last Plinko game with 3 chips only netted $1,500.  I'd far prefer Punch A Bunch to Stinko...

I "won" Bullseye doing the very same thing taking 2 of the same item.

Now that I tape the show and can watch, I can write more on here about the shows too.  The recaps are genuinely appreciated!  Outstanding work as always.

Was good seeing Any Number.  I was telling my son how that's the oldest game and then Drew mentioned about it being one of the very first games too.  I like how Drew shares the history of the show at times.

After the difficult Five Price Tags game, I was so pleased to see Carrie Anne win a car in the showcase!

That Dice Game win was incredible!  Really well played and a well deserved win!

Was glad to see Pick A Number won too.

This makes me wonder what restrictions there might have been in place that are, unfortunately, no longer in place on episodes and content.

I am assuming you mean episodes featuring fur coats, now that Bob has passed away?

For the most part yes, the most expensive item is usually a medical product or some other non-food item.
Based on that, I knew Daniel lost when he put the chicken tenders in that bag. Even though plant based can run up the price (I was surprised it was only $6), the second bag had to be the sunscreen.

Out In Left Field / Re: 2024 NHL Playoffs
« Last post by mellongraig on Today at 05:43:11 AM »
For the second straight postseason, the Florida Panthers eliminate the Boston Bruins by a 2-1 score and take the series 4-2. They will face off against the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference Final, which will begin on Wednesday and the series will be on ESPN/ABC.

Meanwhile, it took double overtime for the Dallas Stars to finish the job and eliminate the Colorado Avalanche by a 2-1 score and take the series 4-2 after a no goal call for goalie interference in the first overtime - they will face the winner of the Vancouver Canucks-Edmonton Oilers series, which could wrap up by tonight or if the Edmonton Oilers win Game 6, extend it to Game 7 on Monday night. The Western Conference Final in the US will be on TNT.

And in other news, the Toronto Maple Leafs have hired Craig Berube as their head coach.

We've hit 63 wins in Bonus Land with the three wins in the final sixth week of season 41.

It was great to see a Million Dollar Bonus Land tonight.   I personally thought the Raw Deal list was going to be in play today but I was wrong.   Smart letter picks by tonight's contestant.   Too bad she forfeited the Wild Card to the Bankrupt...
