What a win for Lindsey in Dice Game, that was a minefield of a setup especially rolling the 3 and 4 for the middle numbers.

On the other hand, tough luck for Daniel in It's in the Bag. I had a feeling the sunscreen would be the $13.99 product, but I had the coffee and chicken switched for the last two.

Difficult setups in the second half besides Pick a Number.

Side by Side or Freeze Frame for a car. Obviously for Freeze, you’d have to replace half the cards with three digits - as it rotates, you’d always have a five digit price is the frame.

Might be hard to create a not obvious setup, though.

Marcus learned why one-dollaring someone is the right move.  If you want to be more than 1800 go 1801. NOT 2000

Marcus would be a strong candidate to be on a future redemption show (if they do one). And what a win by Lindsey in Dice Game--with two 6's and a 1 in the price, that was set up to be lost, and she didn't win just by getting good numbers on the dice. She earned that win. Well done!

The TALK Is Right / Re: Are they taping 'next year' now?
« Last post by NickintheATL on Today at 04:03:21 PM »
That's what I thought. But I would have thought both could tape at the same time but I suppose not if its just one open space with two sets. Just trying to figure that part out.
One open space. I think the control room is between the two just covered by curtains and/or partitions.

There's no way they could tape both shows at the same time.

Punch a Bunch, but once a slip is revealed, if the contestant has additional punched holes not revealed yet, have a 3rd option to “gamble.”  If the “gamble” option is selected, the next hole punched is revealed: if it matches the 1st slip in dollar amount, the initial slip is multiplied by 10, and the contestant is given the option whether to gamble again, keep the money, or give both back and move on to the next hole.  If it doesn’t match, the contestant earns nothing.  (If there are additional punches earned, the contestant automatically moves on to the next hole.  If they gambled and lost on their last hole punched, they lose the game.)

Do Price and Deal use the same stage at Haven? I thought Haven had multiple stages but maybe I'm mistaken.

Kind of a meh show today. Great contestants, lots of troublesome set-ups.

Dice Game was exciting and I sometimes wonder if Drew watches the Barker era on Pluto because he's been setting Dicey's final reveal up like Bob used to recently.

I wouldn't have blown it at $2000 but everything looked like it was quasi-expensive in Bag today. Take Two just seemed like a total crapshoot to me as did the small prizes in FPT. Although Civic Sports are about as pricey as a Civic gets so that $27k price just screamed "PICK ME!"

Being a domestic trip sort of tipped off that the correct number in PaN was 7 though I would have had to think about it quite a bit because trips generally but up to 10k anymore.
